Saturday 27 October  11am TUC Midlands, 47 Summer Lane, Birmingham, B19 3TH

We all deserve respect and fair treatment at work. When everyone can make the most of their hard work and talents, we’re all better off.

But too many working people still face prejudice and discrimination.

The 2018 TUC Midlands Equality Conference will be held in Black History Month and we'll hear about the impact of the Windrush scandal and from 'Love Music Hate Racism' about their work in the ongoing battle against racism in the region.

We'll also learn about innovative young worker organising initiatives in the region as well as the powerful 'Period Power' campaign.

Delegates will also hear from Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) about their struggle and the inspirational 2014 film 'Pride'.

That’s why we put equalities at the heart of our agenda and do all we can to support trade union reps deliver justice in the workplace.

The 2018 TUC Midlands Equality Conference is a great opportunity for union activists from across the midlands to come together, network and discuss how the equalities agenda is being taken forward across industries.

So join us on 27th October as we continue the fight for equality.
