  • Wolverhampton Workers’ Memorial Day Sunday 28th April 12.30pm at the Workers’ Memorial Day Tree, Cenotaph, St Peter’s Square, Wolverhampton WV1 1TS everyone welcome, wreaths and trade union banners too. We have a limited supply of flyers left

  • Wednesday 1st May doors open 6-45pm (25th event) Pegasus Banqueting Suite, Craddock Street, Whitmore Reans, Wolverhampton WV6 0QQ Headline act: Attila the Stockbroker, political punk poet. £1,025 raised so far. 7,500 flyers have arrived.

Sunday 14th July music event with Banner Theatre’s First of May Band and others tbc at Wednesfield Amphitheatre, next to Sainsburys from 3pm.

We’ll be sending a team of four to Topluddle festival to work on the bar for the Workers Beer Company again this July to raise funds for our campaigning.

22% of W.Midlands working age people are living in poverty, according to new figures (2017/18) from the Office for National Statistics, (24% in 2010/11), despite higher employment.
