Sat 11 April 2026 Far right demo in Wolverhampton, about 45 of them, less than the previous times, came to protest at an empty hotel (formerly housed refugee families).
Counter-protest with 50 of us (Wolverhampton Together, Wolverhampton TUC & SuTR) drowned them out with drums and vuvuzelas.
Previous far-right demos in Wolverhampton have brought in the dregs of the far-right from around the country from as far away as Kent; Britain First, Pink Ladies, Raise the Colours and neo-Nazi Patriotic Alternative.
This time it was more of a ragtag bunch, only recognised one of them as from Wolverhampton, Garry Bennet, conspiracy theorist linked to Britain First, who posts the demos to far-right groups since he has no local following.
Former Chelsea and Tranmere football hooligans were also spotted.
Unable to list convictions due to upcoming trials, but are easy to find online.
