Wolverhampton Protest against the use of Palantir by NHS

📢 *PROTECT PATIENTS! REJECT PALANTIR!*

Protest against the use of Palantir by NHS England

1-30pm Monday 9th November

lobby of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) meeting in Wolverhampton – they need to tell NHS England to cut its £330 million contract with Palantir. Its platform isn’t fit for purpose and patients don’t trust this company with our personal health data.

📍 The Civic Centre, Wolverhampton 🚆 Just a 10-minute walk from Wolverhampton train station, tram stop and bus station. Come along, make some noise and help us send a clear message: our NHS and our data are not for sale! ✊

Palantir is used by ICE to surveil, incarcerate and deport migrants in the USA It is also used by the IDF in Palestine to select bombing targets.

The company doesn’t have values that belong in the NHS. The Palantir NHS contract is up for renewal in March 2027. We want to impress on the local Integrated Care Board that we don’t trust Palantir with our data nor do we believe they are competent. The £330 m contract needs to be ended.

organised by Keep Our NHS Public, Amnesty International and WMids PSC

Wolverhampton is the base of Black Country ICB. This is irrespective of whether they are actually using the Federated Data Platform or not, and to let the ICB and the public know that we don’t want them to use it, at least while Palantir are providing the software.
