A rally is to be staged in Shrewsbury in protest at cuts to public sector services and jobs.

Saturday February 19th organisers: Shropshire &Telford TUC & Shropshire Fights Back

   11.30am – march will start from the Shirehall car park

   12.15pm – rally assembling in the Square

Lobby of budget-setting council meeting

Wednesday 2nd March from 4.45pm until 5.45pm

meet outside the council chamber on level 4 of Wolverhampton Civic Centre to protest against cuts to jobs and servicesorganised by UNISON

the public gallery is open if anyone wants to attend the meeting which begins at 5.45pm

Friday 4th March6.30pm Fairtrade refreshments      7pm Presentation, followed by Q&A

March 26th anti-government demo– flyers enclosed, more available if you ask soon. 10,000 printed less than 1000 left. Must book your places soon all 3 coaches are well over half full already. Need to pay £5 deposits asap

Thursday 28th April Workers’ Memorial Day12.30pm at WMDay tree, St Peters Sq. 2,500 A4 colour flyers being printed now – please make requests now for copies to circulate to your members

CWU Keep Post Public rally in Birmingham – a number of our delegates attended a well organised event


Anti-cuts street stall in Wednesfield surpassed the success at Bilston. Over 300 people sent letters to MPs from the two stalls.
