Wolverhampton, Bilston & District TUC
Heart Unions week. Ten volunteers for our Wolverhampton trade union recruitment stall and five for our Bilston stall, from UNISON, UNITE, GMB and CWU. At least 150 other events took place around the country.
We gave out information on how to join a union to several hundred people and received a good response from many who were already union members and from several who asked how to join.

We still have enough leaflets and our National Minimum Wage cards to run another stall, end of March?

Have your say on how the West Midlands Bus network is operated, until 30 March
The Plan is for a franchised bus network to replace the current private operator led system.
Up to 30 March, you can have your say on how the West Midlands bus network is operated.
Under franchising, Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), which is part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), will set the fares, timetables and routes of bus services and award contracts to private bus operators to run them.
