Hope Not Hate’s STOP Reform UK’s rise campaign

Reform UK’s surge is a wake up call – it’s time to act

Reform UK is growing faster than anyone expected. Hope Not Hate‘s new MRP polling shows that if a General Election were held tomorrow, they could win up to 76 seats—potentially surging to 169 if they gain just 3% more support.

We cannot afford to underestimate this threat. If their rise continues, this ends with Nigel Farage in Downing Street.

They are constructing a ruthless campaign machine to exploit frustration, divide communities, and push their far-right agenda into the mainstream. If we don’t act now, they could reshape British politics as we know it.

We are building a movement of thousands to bring people together, expose Reform UK’s tactics and push back in communities across the country. But we need you!

Commenting on Nigel Farage’s claim that Reform is the party of working people, TUC General Secretary Paul Nowak said:

“Nigel Farage is a political fraud who’ll jump on any bandwagon to chase headlines. He is full of empty promises, writing cheques he knows will never be cashed.

“Because when it really counts, Farage always sides with the rich and powerful against working people. He ordered his MPs to vote against banning zero-hours contracts and fire-and-rehire – practices that leave workers exploited and insecure.

“He’s a cheerleader for Donald Trump, who has launched a full-blown attack on public sector workers in the US. And who bankrolls Farage? Hedge fund managers and speculators – the same people profiting from economic chaos.

“He pretends to be anti-establishment, but in reality he’s as establishment as they come.”

Reform is defying its own voters on workers’ rights

The TUC says Reform is defying its own voters and constituents by opposing the Employment Rights Bill.

Recent TUC polling shows the workers’ rights laws are hugely popular with Reform voters from 2024 as well as Reform-leaning voters (those who would vote Reform if there was an election tomorrow).

In every Reform-held constituency, including in Reform leader Nigel Farage’s seat, there is significant support for banning zero hours contracts and giving sick pay to everyone from day one:

Nigel Farage (Clacton)

  • 70% support banning zero hours contracts
  • 71% support day one sick pay

Lee Anderson (Ashfield)

  • 73% support banning zero hours contracts
  • 75% support day one sick pay

Richard Tice (Boston and Skegness)

  • 73% support banning zero hours contracts
  • 72% support day one sick pay

James McMurdock (South Basildon and East Thurrock)

  • 72% support banning zero hours contracts
  • 74% support day one sick pay
