Midlands TUC Inclusion Committee

What is the Midlands TUC Inclusion Committee?

 

It is a sub-committee that looks to ensure that equality issues are a full part of the work and the agenda of the Midlands TUC.
It meets 4 times a year and helps with the organisation of the annual Equalities Conference usually held on the last Saturday of October.
 
Mernbership
Members are representatives of affiliated Trade Unions and Trades Union Councils Please ask your
Regional Secretary about becoming a delegate to the Midlands Inclusion Committee
 
Why become a member?
Equality issues:and discrimination have not gone away: In the last fewyears we have seen
• The Windrush Scandal affecting British citizens from many Commonwealth countries
• The protests about LGBT+ awareness being taught in schools
• Disabled people losing their personal independence due to benefit cuts.
 
Help co-ordinate the work of different trade unions on these and other equality issues;
