Minutes Wolverhampton & Bilston TUC Delegate meeting
Thurs 17 March 2011 at 7pm preceding the public meeting
1) Introductions to delegates & visitors, new & old

2) Minutes of February meeting – not available at meeting, take at next month’s meeting.
3) The Executive Committee had leafleted for the public meeting in lieu of its normal meeting. Correspondence discussed: response from Pat McFadden re not agreeing with principle of early Day motions – agreed to respond
4) Reports: a) March 2nd lobby against cuts organised by UNISON went well attracting new people
b) Secretary’s report:
March 26th anti-government demo – our coach is full, now trying to place enquiries on spare seats on the 10 coaches leaving from Wolverhampton. –agreed to buy travel cards for coach, due to exclusion zone imposed on coaches in London. Produce own flags for demo.
Thursday 28th April Workers’ Memorial Day 12.30pm at WMDay tree, St Peters Sq. A4 colour flyers still available to circulate to your members
Sunday 1st May Pegasus, Whitmore Reans, Workers’ Day celebration Attila the Stockbroker, Fargo band and Transit Trix breakers all confirmed to perform invite Cheryl Pidgeon flyers and posters to be printed
Anti-fascist campaign – run local campaigns as necessary if they stand in local elections. Lot of effort being needs to be put into Stoke too. 16/17 April weekend of action
5) Any Other Business – Workers Beer Company festival – bar volunteer applications sent;
