WB&DTUC Secretary’s Report May 2014
At our last delegate meeting, Wolverhampton, Bilston & District Trades Union Council took the decision to continue our successful policy of campaigning against the fascist BNP whenever they stand. BNP standing in Bushbury North and Springvale again (but no longer Bilston N) in the May 22nd local council elections, same candidates also in euro-election.
60 person-hours volunteering needed to leaflet 10,000 homes.

60 people came to our 23rd annual Workers’ Memorial Day
1st May event, it was well attended all night
about 300 came, 200 free meals served, 3,500 local homes leafleted.
£500 of £1,400 still to raise
