March & Rally in Wolverhampton
WB&DTUC has been asked by UNISON to help organise a march & rally in protest against continued cuts in NHS services and jobs. Our Region which has suffered from hospital closures, mass compulsory redundancies, reductions in beds, down grading, cuts in services and privatisation.
Residents, families, supporters and workers from the four Wolverhampton Council Older Peoples Homes will join the march. 10,000 signitures have been collected so far and the council has extended the consultaion period to early November.
