This workshop, being held in Birmingham, will explore the discrimination and exploitation that migrants and BME workers frequently face which lowers conditions for all workers. It will develop strategies with reps and activists to organise migrant and BME workers and build solidarity to improve pay and conditions for all.
It will showcase the range of resources the TUC has developed to support organising and to tackle discrimination.
Who is it for: Trade union reps, officials and activists from trade unions who are interested in encouraging those in their workplace to organise migrant and BME workers.
