Chainmakers meeting

Friday, July 15  the son of the last Cradley Heath woman chainmaker Trevor Woodhall is giving a talk about the strikers.

 Margaret James, chairperson of the organisers, the Cradley Heath Action Forum, said: “We are hoping that relatives of strikers come along and learn more about the historic strike in Cradley Heath all those years ago.

“It should be a very interesting meeting and we are all looking forward to hearing Trevor talk about the subject.”

The meeting is being held on Friday July 15, at St Lukes Church, Four Ways, Cradley Heath at 7pm.

The TUC's annual Chainmakers festival will be held this year in Bearmore Park, Cradley Heath on Saturday 17th September
