Manchester Trades Council – “What we've needed for a very long time is for the case for organising to be clearly written down for every worker, with a clear explanation of the basic relationships – How each of us relates as an individual Worker, and all of us together as the Working Class, to Business people, to the Business Class, at Work and within the Political system.” The book You Are Working Class by Jeff Thompson does this and much more.

Stand Together Against the Racist EDL in Dudley on Saturday 17th July.

The English Defence League (EDL), a mixture of football hooligans and BNP supporters, again plan to try and march in Dudley. When they came in April, they caused the town to be boarded up for the day and tried to attack police and property, but we stopped them marching.  Like the BNP, the EDL try to claim they are not racist – yet hold anti-Muslim placards and sing racist chants.  Therefore it is important that we again show the EDL that they are not welcome in Dudley.
